So bummed. I was actually hoping to see Robert Wickens (Canadian DTM driver for Merc) have a go in the #8 Oreca FLM09, but I guess that won’t happen now.
Such a shame too because of the fantastic drive from Chris Cumming (also Canadian). Oh well. Best of luck to Performance Tech in the leading #38 PC car. Can’t wait for this class to be gone.
Also, scary moments for both AXR Cadillacs. #31 had a starter motor issue, and some unknown check for the #5.
UPDATE: the #5 had the rear deck off to fix the rear brake lights, something useful for night racing.

Don’t worry, all the dumb drivers will just find GTD rides.

Next candidate is the guy in the Lambo who just cut between 1 and 6 and is now crawling along the TOP of NASCAR 1 and 2.

Was that the one that almost hit the other PC car that spun?

No, he just spun on his own in 1 and then almost got clobbered as he was doing 50 mph along the banking.

The #8 will be back in track with a huge penalty, so you’ll get to see your Canuck DTM driver.
